(RALEIGH) -- A Grammy-winning singer and Broadway actress will spend a week in Raleigh.

Sheena Easton appears in North Carolina Theater's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the BTI Center starting next week.

Over 60 local kids perform in the production.

Ms. Easton says she's excited about the show and the ensemble cast. "It's wonderful to be doing a production that is such a family show. Because as we all know there's so little out there that you can take the whole family to and know that they're going to come away enjoying it on so many levels. Both from the music, from the comedy and from the message that you can get from the show."

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” starts July 8th and runs through July 17th at the BTI Center in Raleigh
